What Time Is 5:30 Cambodia Time In New York
This week we are talking about what time is in Cambodia, how to know it for yourself, and whether or not you should adjust your clock.
First things first, let’s talk about why this is important.
Time is an integral part of our daily lives. It helps us organize ourselves, keep track of events, and establish routines. Without it, life can become difficult to navigate.
It also plays an important role in relationships. If one person is constantly late, that will put stress on the rest of the team. And if people cannot agree on when something happens, then communication breaks down.
In business, being on time keeps deadlines honest. You as a professional owe it to yourself to be on time! As professionals, we need to understand what time is in Cambodia so that we don’t waste money by paying excessive airline fees due to incorrect timing.
This article will go into more detail about what time is in Cambodia, how to recognize it, and whether or not you should change yours.
It’s almost midnight in Cambodia
This past week, we spent one full day and night exploring Siem Reap with some of our favorite people! We started off at an authentic Cambodian restaurant for lunch where they make all their own recipes and cook everything from scratch.
After eating there, we made our way to visit Angkor Wat which is by far one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. There are so many things you can do here, it really depends on how long you want to spend and what kind of experiences you’re looking to have.
We also took time to explore another site called Ta Phin Temple which was very interesting to look into. The area surrounding this temple was quite picturesque as well.

When we left you, it was already well into evening in Cambodia. But now that night has fully set in, it is time to say goodbye! As of this writing, the clock here at our place says it is 5:30 am in Cambodia (wherever you are reading this from).
And since we’re talking about clocks, let’s take a look at what time zone his is!
Cambodia uses Central Standard Time as their day zone. This means that when they experience daylight savings time, which happens every spring and fall, then wintertime is actually longer than normal!
This can result in some very confusing times for people who are used to Eastern Daylight Time or Mountain Standard Time, both of which have shorter winters. For example, if you were traveling during these times of extra sleep, you would probably be awake and going strong by 6:00 AM, but then wait until around 9:00-9:15 AM to begin your daily activities because you wouldn’t start your day until later than usual.
Central Standard Time also receives more sunlight per hour than either East Coast Time or Pacific Time, making it feel like you’ve got an extra hours worth of light each morning.

This week, we are talking about what time is in Cambodia during the night. Some may know that Cambodians use a 24-hour clock system and do not specify day or nights, but they also mix up which hours of the day apply to where you live.
Cambodia has two different sets of midnight markers depending on whether you’re referring to Bangkok or Phnom Penh. In Bangkok, it is 1:00 AM for both morning and evening settings, while in Phnom Penh it is 2:00 AM for mornings and 3:00 AM for evenings.
Likewise, noon in Bangkok is 9:00 AM, whereas in Phnom Penh it is 10:00 AM. The same goes for early afternoon, with 4:00 PM being 2:00 PM in Bangkok and 3:00 PM in Phnom Penh.

This week, we’re going to be talking about what time things get done in the city depending on where you live. Specifically, we’ll talk about how people who work in the City do their jobs!
If your job doesn’t have an office, then it can be tricky figuring out when your colleagues are normally around and able to meet with you. For some people, they put in extra hours after the normal working day is over and they go home, but there’s no guarantee that happens for everyone.
Some people stay later than others, and some don’t show up at all sometimes. But hopefully that won’t happen too often as most people keep close tabs on each other these days due to overlapping responsibilities.
So let us give you some tips here on how to use technology to your advantage by keeping track of when your colleagues usually do their business.
It’s 9:30 p.m. in Paris
I’ve been awake for over an hour now, trying to figure out what time it is back home in NYC. The reason why this seems like an eternity is because there are no street lights here in Phnom Penh, only small glimmers of light coming from nearby buildings.
I tried looking at my phone but it doesn’t quite make sense where all the icons go due to the difference in markets. So instead, I looked up the city map on Google Maps and found that most of Central Khmer (the Cambodian language) place names correspond with major landmarks such as casinos or shopping centers.

The best way to wake up an early bird is with good morning greetings in his or her own language, of course! When it comes down to it, most people start their day around the same time every day — whether that’s at sunrise or sunset.
So what is one of the world’s favorite languages? You guessed it! French has been ranked as the top second-most spoken language in the world. Given its popularity, there are many ways to learn how to speak like a native quickly.
And while it may sound crazy to say this, speaking like a native starts by practicing your numbers.
